The department is headed by Dr. Suresh Kumar, one of our dedicated panel of consultants. We undertake all major surgeries including emergency surgeries. Our well equipped operation theatre ensures that even the most sick patients who require emergency and difficult operations are well taken care. The follow up care is also ensured by excellent post operative care with our staffs ensuring round the clock monitoring. Our hospital also prides itself of giving specialised burns care in this area. We also undertake day care surgeries where we deal cases like circumcision, pediatric inguinal hernias, soft tissue swelling removals etc. We also ensure good care of our trauma patients along with other departments. The availability of the doctors and the exclusive care given 24 hrs makes us unique in comparison to other centres.

We undertake diagnostic endoscopy procedures that has helped many patients who had to travel a long way for these services.

Neurosurgical services

Our Neurosurgeon Dr. Suresh is a very big support to all the departments especially in the event of head and neck trauma care. He has helped us in extending our surgical services to give a good neurosurgical care.

Urology services

Dr. Narayanamoorthy, well renowned Urologist gives excellent Urology services. Major urologic surgeries are being undertaken. This has helped many of our patients who were going to Chennai for the urology services to have their treatment taken at their own home town.

Faciomaxillary Surgery

We also have in the trauma team Dr.Jegan Babu, a faciomaxillary surgeon supporting the team and who does a wonderful job in operating Facial fractures.
